He will have a bigger role to play on the slower wicket of Paarl Pant than stick to his fearless brand of cricket. Pant and Shreyas are expected to switch strikes to avoid further stuttering in the middle range.

Venkatesh Iyer: The left-arm all-rounder’s debut drew mixed reactions considering that Venkatesh did not bowl a single in the match.
